They may be sunning it up in the villa now, but some of the cast of Love Island 2024 have left behind well-paying jobs for a summer of love, and it turns out one of them could be already sailing in cash. The brand-new bevvy of sun-kissed singles who hit the villa on Monday night (3 June) includes an accounts manager, a mental health nurse and even a football semi-pro - all regular people from varying walks of life.

However, the iconic ITV2 show - which saw Joey Essex enter the villa on Monday - opened-up possibilities for some of these stars who might land huge career opportunities. Molly-Mae Hague, for instance, boasts a whopping net worth of £6million after her stint on the show in 2019.

But it doesn't play out like that for everyone as previous years have seen some islanders returning to their 9-to-5 routines after leaving the villa. So, what were these fresh contenders were earning before jetting off to Spain in pursuit of love? According to the the Daily Star, they weren't doing too badly.

Before making waves in the villa, Sam Taylor was handy with scissors as a hairstylist raking in an approximate salary of £25k per year at least. Putting those skills to use, Sam has admitted he will use his hairdressing talent to catch the ladies' eye. "It definitely has to come out, the hairdressing skills. I'm definitely going to use it to my advantage! " He shared with Mirror and other news outlets.

Harriett Blackmore, a personal shopper to the stars and best friend of Strictly Come Dancing's Saffron Barker, could be earning a large sum. With a personal shopper salary of around £31,000 and an additional income from her dancing career, she could be raking it in.

Ronnie Vint, a hunky footballer from South East London, is good pals with Loose Women's Olivia Attwood and her husband Bradley Dack. Playing for Lewes FC, Ronnie could be earning between £1,000 and £1,500 a week, which equates to a yearly pay packet of around £52k.

Liverpool-based makeup artist Samantha Kenny is set to wow us with her stunning looks in the villa. Outside of the show, she could be earning big bucks, with a makeup artist's average salary being £39,000.

Ayo Odukoya, a model and footballer based in London, is sure to turn heads on Love Island 2024. With a potential modelling salary of £40,000 a year and additional earnings from his football career, Ayo's bank account is likely to be healthy.

Aberdare's own Nicole Samuel is an accounts manager and her current role typically brings in an annual salary of around £26k, but the 24 year old go-getter could pull in £45k a year if she climbs the ranks to a top-tier position.

Portsmouth native Mimii Ngulube has chosen a career dedicated to helping others as a mental health nurse, where her salary could range from a substantial £35,000 to £59,000 based on her level of experience.

But this 24-year-old bombshell wears many hats she's also a budding actress who has showcased her impressive talent in theatre productions, including playing the role of Marty in a local production of Grease.
