Louis Garrel is Dior's latest menswear ambassador
'Little Women' star Louis Garrel has been announced as the latest menswear brand ambassador for Dior.
The 40-year-old French actor and director - who rocked a classic dark blue button-up Dior suit designed by artistic director men's collections, Kim Jones, to the Cannes Film Festival screening of 'The Second Act' this week - has hailed the luxury brand “an absolute legend in the world of fashion.”
He said in a statement: “Combining originality and classicism, Dior has been able to successfully live through different epochs, making it indispensable,
The designer added: “He perfectly embodies the French elegance. We are extremely excited to welcome him in the house."
The 'Saint Laurent' star joins the likes of Robert Pattinson and Jimin of BTS as Dior ambassadors.
The suave actor has previously appeared in campaigns for Valentino, Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani.
Meanwhile, in an interview Le Monde this week, Louis admitted "I always doubt everything, including myself".
Asked why he stays out of politics, he replied: "But I feel I express myself a lot. I always doubt everything, including myself. When I was 20, I was impacted by my encounter with a very brilliant man, who preferred Raymond Aron to Jean-Paul Sartre, because he got less wrong. And then, I think we're still in a time of listening. When it comes to such intimate wounds, you need time for everything. A time to listen and a time to speak."
