Lorraine shows off her online shopping in a smart Mint Velvet dress
Lorraine Kelly-Smith looked gorgeous in a snap shared to Instagram ahead of Friday Morning's (8 January) show. The Presenter wore a pretty tie waist shirt dress from high street brand Mint Velvet, and used the hashtag #onlineshopping; which we can all relate to right now.
For those of us who prefer shopping in store and trying on in the changing rooms, over ordering online and returning what doesn't fit, buying clothes during lockdown is not in our comfort zone.
But Lorraine's dress fits well and the style she opted for is a particularly good one for ordering online. With tailored shirt dresses you really have to get the size spot on, but Lorraine's softer silkier option is perfectly adjusted to her with the clever tie waist.
The abstract motif and semi-sheer sleeves are nice touches of character.
Costing £129 the dress is a bit more of an investment piece. But there are cheaper alternatives out there.
This Oasis number costs just £44.25 and is also a relaxed take on a shirt dress with the all important tie waist. It's available in sizes 6-18.
Or if you're looking for something more casual, this M&S jersey number really uses the tie waist as a stylish design feature.
