Lorraine Kelly shared an adorable snap of her dog Angus asleep with puppy Ruby
Lorraine Kelly has taken to Instagram to share an adorable photograph of her dog Angus taking a nap alongside puppy Ruby.
Dachshund Ruby belongs to Lorraine’s daughter Rosie Smith and is a new addition to the household, joining the family a few weeks ago.
Lorraine’s own dog Angus is a border terrier and it seems he and Ruby have become close companions.
In a post alongside the photographs, Lorraine described the two as “best pals” and said both dogs were “worn out after playing together all day!”
The ITV presenter added that sausage dog Ruby seemed to have learned “napping lesson from the original scruff, Mr Angus P. Angus.”
The two dogs were able to meet for the first time recently, once Ruby had received all the relevant puppy vaccinations. Lorraine shared clips of the two playing together in the garden as they become fast friends.
Ruby even has her own Instagram account dedicated to her adorable antics, @rubyisasausage where regular updates are shared.
As well as looking after their dogs, mum and daughter duo Lorraine and Rosie have been busy with other joint projects.
The pair have launched their own podcast, What If? which features special guests discussing pivotal points in their lives.
Lorraine also recently announced on her ITV Daytime show Lorraine that she and Rosie would be appearing on the next series of Celebrity Gogglebox together.
