Lorraine Kelly has reminded us why the shirt dress is one of the ultimate wardrobe staples. The presenter shared her dress choice on Instagram ahead of her appearance on Lorraine on Wednesday, 18 January and this latest look ticks both the functional and chic boxes.
Lorraine chose a khaki shirt dress in faux suede from online brand Sosandar teamed with one of her go-to shoe styles - a pair of gold heels from Made the Edit. This comfortable utility style is perfect for daytime dressing and the addition of metallic stilettos give the outfit an elegant edge. For something more casual, a pair of winter boots would also complement the dress well.

Last week, the TV star chose a wrap style from high-street brand & Other Stories and earlier in the month, she was seen in a piece from French Connection's sustainable range in neutral and green tones. The French Connection dress is currently on sale, reduced to £53 at Marks & Spencer, and at the time of writing, it's available in UK sizes 6-10.
