Loose Women's very own Charlene White has shared a touching moment from her recent audiobook recording session, where she was brought to tears. The TV star took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes action.

Charlene spent an intense seven hours in the studio working on the audio for her forthcoming book, 'No Place Like Home'. In a candid post, she showed herself in front of the mic, peace sign up, with the caption: "The tired eyes and voice of someone who got through SEVEN HOURS of recording the audio version of my book No Place Like Home today."

She opened up about the emotional rollercoaster she experienced, saying: "Cried a couple times while doing it, stumbled on words more than a couple times, laughed my head off many many times. Two days down, one more to go!"

The I'm A Celeb star also expressed her joy when her publisher @shar_love_ made an unexpected appearance to cheer her on. "Swipe for my utter joy of my publisher @shar_love_ popping into the recording studios to boost my energy levels and confidence mid-way through the day. This whole project suddenly feels SO REAL."

Last month, Charlene was overwhelmed by the love from her followers when she announced her new project. She broke the news on Instagram, sharing: "I've written a book! NO PLACE LIKE HOME will be published by @dialoguebooks on September 5 2024."

She shared: "After what seems like an eternity of thinking about it, I've finally taken the leap, put pen to paper, and immersed myself in the beauty that is continuing to tell other peoples' stories, but through writing."

She further explained her decision to write the book, stating: "The idea of 'home' is a personal one, and it can be impacted by so many different factors. From food, to phrases, places, to smells, to feelings we struggle to find the words for I'm genuinely fascinated by the different versions of we call 'home', and so I decided to write about it."

Charlene continued: "I've spoken to lots of brilliant people, and I'm very grateful to be able to share their stories and so alongside my experience as a Jamaican Londoner, and the experience of my parents and grandparents building a life here in London, there are stories of growing up in care, of fleeing wartorn Ukraine, of finding community through food, and more. I also discuss moments in history, and how our sense of home is shaped socially and culturally. It's a book that means a lot to me and I'm very proud of, and I can't wait for you to read it."

Charlene wrapped up her announcement by letting fans know that pre-orders for her book are now open. Her post was met with a wave of support from friends and fans alike.

Her Loose Women co-star Brenda Edwards responded: "Bloody amazing you special lady xx."

Whilst Alex Beresford dropped a sweet "Congratulations Gurl," Judi Love couldn't contain her excitement and gushed, "Congratulations hun! ".
