Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has candidly declared she's too busy for love right now.

The 55 year old television personality, known for her role on the daytime show has opened up about her personal life, stating in an interview with Woman's Own: "No, I'm single and loving it. I don't need a man, or a woman. I'm fine with just me, myself and I. You've got to enjoy your own company. Plus, I'm really busy, so I haven't got the time to date!"

Despite her success on 'The X Factor back in 2005 and a thriving career in musical theatre, Brenda – who was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2016 – revealed that she's lost touch with the judges from the show but still keeps in contact with some of her fellow contestants.

She shared: "They're all busy. Sharon [Osbourne] came to see me star in a couple of shows, like We Will Rock You and Chicago, but I'm not really in touch with any of the judges. As far as the acts are concerned, I'm in contact with Chico, Andy Abraham, Fleur East of course, and The Conway Sisters."

However, Brenda is all for the return of The X Factor, which was cancelled in 2018, and would jump at the chance to participate once more, especially to experience performing with a live band.

She expressed her enthusiasm: "I'd love it to return and I'd love to go on it again because during my time there we used backing tracks, but then two years later they introduced live bands. I think any singer would love to sing with a live band."

Brenda sadly lost her son, Jamal, back in February 2022 when he died suddenly.
