The Loose Women's decision to bare all in a new body positivity campaign has received a huge reaction on social media, with many women taking to Twitter to share their own inspiring messages and photos.

The Loose Women Body Stories special, which aired on ITV this morning, saw nine of the cast members strip down to their swimming costumes without airbrushing or filters, encouraging women across the UK to celebrate their bodies, no matter their age or size.

Viewers were today encouraged to share their own body stories with the hashtag #MyBodyMyStory. To kick the conversation off, the Loose Women cast members, including Coleen Nolan, Katie Price and Nadia Sawalha, shared their own thoughts about their bodies and discussed their 'flaws' ahead of the show.

'I have produced five babies so I can't knock my body – it's a proper machine,' said Katie Price. 'There's no body the same – I've got scars, they're good memories. We're all imperfect, all bodies tell a story. I don't regret any of it. Everyone should embrace who they are. At the end of the day you should be loved for who you are.'

Meanwhile, 27-year-old Stacey Solomon added, 'I have lots of bits and pieces I don't like about my body – saggy boobs and stretch marks and the thing that really bothers me is my love handles.

'What I hope this photoshoot shows women and men is that in most celebrity pictures there has been some form of airbrushing or retouching – so they shouldn't compare themselves to unrealistic ideals.'

Unsurprisingly, the campaign has already proven a huge success with hundreds of women taking to social media to share their own stories and photos, while others simply praised them for the powerful stunt:
