That's A LOT of fairy lights
Usually associated with 'back to school' adverts and 'investment-worthy' winter coats, September can be a difficult month even in years which haven't had the 2020 treatment.
But not so fast! Thanks to Love Island USA season 2, which launches on ITV2 at 9pm tonight, summer is here to stay! For a bit longer, anyway. Love Island USA will see a brand new cast compete for the grand $50,000 prize and, of course, the chance to find love. However, instead of hopping on a plain to a tropic isle, this year's contestants will be keeping it local(ish) in a luxurious villa atop of Las Vegas hotel, The Cromwell. It's located on the notorious strip, which means contestants will have the perfect view from their 25,000-sq ft. rooftop villa.
According to show producers, "the iconic hotel has been transformed into a fun and sexy villa". Richard Jensen, the show's production designer, has given the hotel the full Love Island treatment, complete with a jacuzzi, hideaway, communal bedroom, the iconic fire pit and even a pull-out bed for those in the dog-house. Not to mention, there's a total of 27,000 ft of fairy lights hanging around the place.
Ngl, this looks pretty magical. See you in Sin City at 9pm, yeah?
