Publication Digital Spy has revealed a clip from beautiful new movie Living, released in UK cinemas this Friday (November 4).

A remake of Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru, the movie stars Bill Nighy as veteran civil servant Mr Williams who, through years of office routine, has led a shadow existence. Following some life-changing news, he chooses to turn his life into something wonderful.

In the clip, we see Mr Williams visit a local tea shop where he runs into Margaret (Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood). She used to work in the same office, but left to pursue a new career, and Mr Williams thinks he might be able to learn to live from Margaret.

Following its festival run, Living stands at a near-perfect 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has been tipped for awards success in the months to come, especially for Nighy's affecting lead performance.

Directed by Oliver Hermanus and written by Kazuo Ishiguro, the movie also stars Tom Burke as decadent writer and Alex Sharp as an idealistic new recruit at Mr Williams' department.

If you've seen Ikiru, then you'll know to expect tears and potentially some life-affirming realisations when you check it out in UK cinemas this weekend.
