Workout motivation can be one of the hardest things to muster - particularly when your bed is oh so cosy before that morning HIIT class. However, Leigh-Anne Pinnock has shared the inspiring drive behind her own sweat sessions.

The Little Mix singer, 30, explained to her social media following that motherhood had pushed her to get stronger. She welcomed twins with fiancé Andre Gray back in August 2021. In a video shared to Instagram, the star explained that she had started strength training in order to be a hands on mum as the one-year-olds grow bigger.

Captioning the clip which shows her squatting - with her heels raised - while clutching a weighted ball, Leigh-Anne wrote: 'She back baby!! Working out is always something that I've enjoyed doing, I see it as my alone time, something that is really positive on my mental health and just genuinely makes me feel good from the inside. I can't wait to feel stronger, I got a baby on each hip now so I need to get to workkkk!'

Her post went down well with fans, who left more than 127,000 'likes' and hundreds of encouraging comments. This included Vicky Pattison who wrote: 'Omg honestly!!!! How have you had twins?!!! You're insane.' Another shared: 'Super moma.' And a third added: 'You look incredible!'

It comes after Leigh-Anne - who hasn't revealed the names or gender of her twins - shared how she struggled to breastfeed. Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: 'It's been intense, and I don't feel people talk about how hard it is. With the sleep deprivation on top, at one point I was literally hallucinating because I was so tired. It's definitely not easy.'

Shortly before that, the new mum-of-two posted to Instagram an adorable picture of herself breastfeeding her twins backstage at the premiere of her debut film Boxing Day - with many fans praising her for normalising the act in public. She previously announced, along with bandmates Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, that Little Mix was going on hiatus for a while.
