Lisa Armstrong 'selling home she once shared with Ant McPartlin for £4m' in wake of terrifying fire
Lisa Armstrong is 'selling the home she once shared with ex Ant McPartlin for £4m' eight months after a terrifying blaze tore through the property.
The 47 year old makeup artist previously lived in the lavish West London home with Ant when they were married. They split in 2018, and she's believed to have been renting out the property in recent years.
As part of her divorce deal from Ant, Lisa was given the West London home, which boasts three bedrooms and two cloakrooms. Ant's longtime TV co-host Declan Donnelly used to live on the same street with his wife, Ali Astall.
In September, a fire broke out at the house, which saw numerous firefighters rush to the property to put out the flames, with Lisa later sharing a cryptic quote on Instagram which read: "Once the heart gets too heavy with pain, people don't cry. They just turn silent. Completely silent."
Regarding the house sale, a source told The Sun: "There are obviously lots of memories attached to the house. Lisa has long since moved on but this is essentially the last connection she has from her marriage to Ant. She bought a new home nearby after they divorced and added a pool and a gym.
"She rented the former marital home out, but after last year's fire gutted a back bedroom she doesn't want the hassle anymore."
OK! has contacted Lisa's reps for comment.
The home was listed on Rightmove on Saturday, with 27 images that show off the luxurious living quarters, including an 80ft south facing rear garden - with a "self-contained garden studio" - as well as a gym room and "games/cinema room/bar area", according to the listing.
It also describes the property as "a substantial double-fronted family home" and is located on "a sought-after residential road". It appears the home has not been lived in, in recent times, as dust sheets cover some of the furniture and damage from the fire can be seen in one room.
Lisa now lives in a new home that isn't too far from the one that she shared with Ant. She calls it her "happy place".
Following his split from Lisa, Ant started dating his PA, Anne-Marie Corbett, and the pair went on to marry in 2021. Ant became a step-dad to Anne-Marie's two daughters, but he and Anne-Marie are taking a huge leap in their relationship, as she is currently pregnant with their first child together.
TV star Ant has publicly expressed his desire to become a dad in the past, opening up about the struggles he and his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong went through trying to have a baby. Opening up to the Radio Times, Ant confessed: "There's a rumour that we do everything together and I'm holding off having kids till Dec finds himself Mrs Right. I love that idea, but I'm afraid it's not true. Lisa and I would love to have kids. We're trying."
He candidly concluded: "It's tougher than you think."
