Lily Collins becomes the new face of Cartier

Lily Collins has been appointed the latest ambassador for luxury jewellery brand Cartier.

The Emily in Paris actress will front campaigns for the fine jewellery brand's Clash (Un)limited collection and the Double C de Cartier handbag.

Sharing the news of her latest role on Instagram, Collins wrote, "Beyond thrilled to officially join the @cartier family! It's such an honor and dream to be included as the face of their latest collection, Clash (Un)limited. Thank you to the whole team for making my inauguration into this iconic company so beautiful, memorable and seamless. I've always respected the Maison's history and couldn't be happier to now be part of it. So much more to come!"

According to WWD, the Clash de Cartier collection is the brand's cool and edgy offering, and the upcoming capsule, which is due to be launched in September, will be comprised of spiked rings, bracelets and earrings using white gold, onyx, diamonds and amethyst, as well as two luxury watches.

Collins rocks the new pieces in the campaign images, which were shot by American photographer Zoë Ghertner.

Arnaud Carrez, Cartier's international marketing and communications director, told the publication that Collins was the "obvious choice" to front the campaign.

"Unique and committed, Lily Collins embodies a new generation of artists who dare to reveal their different sides, sometimes classic and elegant, sometimes creative, sometimes even extravagant. In summary, people who do not limit themselves," he said.
