I am still reeling from Julia Fox’s barely there outfit made entirely out of condoms, which was followed by her metal lingerie set during New York Fashion Week. But nothing could have prepared us for her latest chaotic look, where gothcore meets school uniform. Can’t a girl get a break?

On Wednesday, Julia was photographed in the streets of New York City as she pulled off a preppy ensemble with a gothcore twist. Voluntarily auditioning for her part in School of Rock, the actress opted for a white, halter-neck sleeveless button-up featuring a plunging back and a black checkered tie with metal grommets. The top was paired with a multicolored plaid miniskirt, which was held together by safety pins and cinched with a chunky black belt. Like every uniform-clad girl who refused to carry a book bag, Julia followed suit and dared to defy the rules while sporting a black quilted handbag adorned with massive belt buckles. As for her shoes, she literally elevated her kooky 'fit with a pair of knee-high, belted Mary Janes with a platform heel.

Beauty-wise, she styled her long red hair with loose curls and a middle part and opted for her signature glam, save for a dramatic smoky eye and glossy lined lips.

Leave it to Julia to drop jaws with every step she takes. Just last week, she was photographed attending the New York premiere of her new movie, Something You Said Last Night, donning a barely there metal corset with a matching floor-sweeping maxiskirt. She accessorized the eye-catching look with sheer black opera gloves and a bizarre handbag: a black shoulder bag in the shape of a crow featuring a beak and bird feet.
