Lego releases advent calendars for 2024
If you want a fun way to count down to Christmas day or are on the lookout for a great advent calendar for kids or adults, Lego fans will be excited to know that the new Lego advent calendars for 2024 have just been released.
With a new Lego piece behind each door, by the end of December they'll have a complete festive scene and with Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Spider-Man themes all featuring, it can be tricky to work out which one to pick up this year. Which is why we've broken each set down to highlight some of the characters, builds and games that they include.
So, if you're looking to get ahead of the game this year and have your Christmas to-do list at the ready, you can pick up one of these toy advent calendars from now until they sell out – which they often do, depending on the retailer that you're looking to buy yours from.

Lego Star Wars advent calendar
The Star Wars advent calendar features five characters, with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia dressed in Christmas outfits for a bit of festive fun. Additionally, there are mini builds included such as The Crimson Firehawk and a Minikit from the first Star Wars video game. For children aged six years plus, this is a great advent calendar to promote some imaginative play.
Lego Harry Potter advent calendar
Meanwhile, Harry Potter fans can be transported to the wizarding world via Hogwarts' Great Hall this Christmas with an advent calendar including eight figures, including Hedwig the owl and the first ever Choir Ghost mini figure. Among the 16 mini builds in the set, you'll find a gargoyle for each of the four Hogwarts houses and tables set for a festive feast. Lego Disney advent calendar
The Disney princesses have their own advent calendar for 2024 and it features eight beloved characters in the the form of Elsa, Tiana, Ariel, Mirabel, Moana, Pua, Sven and a Snowgie. And the box is just as impressive as the gifts that they'll find behind each door, with box having a built-in game board to entertain up to five players. For ages five plus.
Lego Spider-Man advent calendar
For those who love Marvel, the Spider-Man advent calendar is the perfect gift for your little super hero. As they open each door, they'll find five mini figures including Venom, Green Goblin and Spider Man in three of his different forms, as well as a Spider-Ham, along with mini builds such as Electro’s winter tree and the Green Goblin’s glider. Super fun! For ages seven years and over.

Lego City advent calendar
If you're after some traditional Christmas characters, the Lego City advent calendar features Santa and Mrs Claus, as well as a snowman and a few mini pets. A winter wonderland play mat and additions including a Christmas tree and sledge make this great for imaginative play and building up excitement for the big day. Suitable for ages five plus.
Lego Friends advent calendar
And this year's Lego Friends Advent Calendar takes a trip back in time to celebrate festive traditions with mini doll figures and two adorable baby animal toy pets. There's also builds that allow kids to bake biscuits and toast marshmallows, alongside an interactive snowball catapult. For ages six plus.
