A Leeds United fan store has closed.

Popular artist Andy McVeigh, AKA Burley Banksy, opened his pop-up at the Merrion Centre ahead of the festive season. It sold lots of Leeds United-inspired items aiming to be the ideal spot for Christmas gifts for a Whites fan.

While some will undoubtedly be disappointed by the closure, it does appear there might well be reason for optimism, thanks to a cryptic social media post from the Burley Banksy. On Instagram, he posted: "This Merrion Centre shop now (is) closed but opening somewhere else soon..."
