Lavazza just launched the first coffee machine with built in Amazon Alexa
It's official, get your hover-board, the future is here. Lavazza just launched a coffee machine with Alexa voice assistant built in. The brand's latest A Modo Mio espresso coffee machine, aptly named Voicy, has been created with Amazon and is the first coffee machine to boast the wonders of Alexa.
Not only can you simply say, 'Alexa, make me an espresso,' for your caffeine fix, the machine has all of the other Alexa functions too. So it could tell you the morning weather, the traffic, send messages, make and receive calls, turn on the light and play your favourite music.
You can personalise things, including your espresso size and temperature, in the app and save family and friends' preferences too, so you don't need to fiddle with settings or selections.
The machine costs £249 or can be bought on Lavazza's subscription service, costing £50, alongside a capsule subscription.
