There’s no doubt that, for many of us, going on holiday is one of the highlights of our year. Whether we’re jetting off to sunnier climes to relax on a beach or spending a few days exploring a new city, booking a much-needed holiday gives us something to look forward to, away from the humdrum of everyday life.

But sometimes it’s not all plain-sailing - there can be so much to consider now when planning a trip, even if it’s somewhere you have ventured to year after year for so long. Now holidaymakers must consider factors such as passport validity, luggage allowance changes and tourism tax among many other things.
