LaPointe Targets Next Phase of Growth With New Appointment
New York-based luxury ready-to-wear brand LaPointe has named industry veteran Reese Pozgay vice president of marketing.
Pozgay will support creative director Sally LaPointe’s vision by “building a strong, identifiable brand identity through visual and verbal language,” the brand said in a statement. In addition, he will oversee brand consistency throughout all departments and platforms; build out a 360-degree marketing strategy, and cultivate seasonal storytelling to support all product launches across social media, events, celebrities, influencers, press, partnerships, collaborations, content and more.

The brand, founded in 2010, is sold on its website, as well as at retailers including Moda Operandi, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, The Conservatory, Intermix, Kirna Zabête, Harrods and more. It has been spotted on the likes of Zendaya, Hailey Bieber, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Oprah Winfrey and others.

Pozgay joins LaPointe after working in the industry for more than 18 years across fashion and beauty. He first led global marketing at Marc Jacobs International from 2009 to 2017 before founding his own consultancy and creative marketing agency, Reesito LLC, and simultaneously serving as acting chief merchandising officer for Dr. Perricone Hydrogen Water. Pozgay’s agency focused on digital-first, 360-degree consumer experiences with clients including Google, Coty, Irene Neuwirth, Ilene Joy, Estée Lauder, Matte Projects, Agency Love, Morphe and more.
Prior to joining LaPointe, Pozgay was most recently vice president, marketing and owned channels of Revlon, where he led the brand’s digital transformation.
