Laetitia Casta Closes Breezy and Boho Twinset Show for Spring 2025

Sunny nonchalance and natural femininity with a whiff of boho dominated the spring Twinset collection, an ode to lightness and light-hearted women — with a lot of leggy looks.

“The idea stemmed from the complexity of the moment we’re living; I think a bit of lightness is necessary,” said Alessandro Varisco, the brand’s chief executive officer.

One can tell wearability and commercial viability are at the heart of the Twinset design process. There were plenty of desirable items here, from the rib-knit ruffled dresses to the cotton eyelet primrose frocks.

As they strode the runway — a tent space drenched in black — one with enough imagination could picture them walking to the beach in Saint-Tropez or strolling around Forte dei Marmi in their paisley pleated frocks, asymmetric jersey gowns, or daring a night out in a see-through tulle micro skirt paired with a poet-collared shirt.

No fashion fireworks, sure, but the unfussy romanticism is what the brand’s customers are buying into — at an accessible price point.

Probably best epitomized by the flowing silk dress with ruffled hems in a captivating peony fuchsia sported by Laetitia Casta to close the show, the collection made its own statement.

“It’s not accessible luxury, it’s an alternative to luxury,” Varisco said.
