King Charles III's Coronation provided us with plenty of fashion content straight off the bat. From Katy Perry (yes, she was really a guest at the ceremony) in a pastel dress and matching jacket, to Zara Tindall repping the high street with her Strathberry handbag, not to mention Kate Middleton's breathtaking coronation outfit that included touching tributes to both her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, and the late monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, in her jewellery.
And today's events have also highlighted a new style icon in the form of Lady Louise Windsor. With everyone in attendance pulling out all the stops when it comes to their sartorial choices, it was always going to be hard to stand out amongst the crowd. But Lady Louise managed to look effortlessly elegant in a sophisticated Suzannah London floral dress. Don't believe us? Check out her lewk below.
The Kumiko Iris Silk Dress is a bestseller for the brand, and Lady Louise's design is a new season update created in collaboration with celebrated French botanical photographer, Rachel Levy. The print features an intricate repeated pattern created from one of Rachel’s photos.
Made from pure Italian silk crepe de chine, the dress featured a mockneck and shirring around the waist and cuffs with a delicate frill for added detail. The 19-year-old added a large pale blue hat, rather than opting for a tiara in keeping with the *modernised* ceremony and King Charles' wishes for a more understated affair. A nude clutch bag and heels finished the look. She was also photographed with a pair of ivory gloves (though she was only holding them, not actually wearing them) for a final flourish which we. are. here. for.
The Royal Family is *pretty* big, so in case you're not quite sure who exactly Lady Louise is, let us break it down. To refer to her with her full given name, Lady Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary Mountbatten-Windsor is the eldest child and only daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex (AKA the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh). That means she is King Charles' niece and a cousin of Prince William.
If you like Lady Louise's dress as much as we do, we've rounded up the best look-alike styles available to shop now on the high street. It's never been easier to look like a royal, tiara optional.
