Lady Gaga is known and loved for her wild looks and eccentric style so it’s rare that we see her sans costume, letting her natural beauty shine through.

We’ve only seen Gaga, real name Stefani Joanne Angelica Germanotta, laid bare a couple of times in the past: for special photoshoots and most notably in her 2017 documentary ‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’.

Now, Gaga’s changed up her look once more for her new role in ‘A Star Is Born’ and she looks completely unrecognisable.

In the film’s posters, alongside her co-star Bradley Cooper, Gaga swaps out her peroxide blonde hair for a mousy brown ‘do.

As for her make-up, Gaga tones down her dramatic smoky eye for more neutral look – and wow.

Just take a look for yourself:

Stunning or what?

The musical romantic drama, which stars and is directed by Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, follows the story of musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) and his chance meeting with aspiring musician Ally (Gaga) as he helps her to find her confidence on stage.

Gaga’s starring role will be her first in a feature length film. The trailer will give you chills. Be prepared.

We’re majorly into this parred-down look on Gaga, and it seems we’re not the only ones.

And she’s not the first star to rock a totally stripped-back look in the name of art: just last week, Ariana Grande surprised fans when she rocked blonde hair and freckles on the cover of British Vogue.

Similarly, there has been a growing embracement of the makeup-free movement by celebrities, who have been posting their bare-faced selfies on social media.

Simply gorgeous.
