Kylie Jenner just ditched all her hair extensions
Is it us or has Kylie Jenner's hair been getting longer and longer this year? Sure, she's had some au naturel moments, allowing fans a glimpse of her extension-free locks, but mostly she's favoured Rapunzel-length plaits and cascading hair extensions, and quite frankly, her hair follicles deserve an award.
This time last week she even ventured out of the caramel/honey/blonde spectrum she's been so busy perfecting and dyed her hair red. Her matching waist-length extensions had fans comparing her to Ariel from The Little Mermaid, but the Disney phase was short lived, because Kylie looked startlingly different in her most recent set of pictures...
She posed with her her nephew, Psalm, over the weekend, and when we say her hair was short, we're talking shoulder skimming. Most extension-loving celebrities take a break from their hair pieces every now and then - even Ariana Grande's signature swishy ponytail came out during lockdown when she went extension-free for her birthday (birthday treats don't come much better than that).
Kylie's sister Khloe also exercised her right to scalp freedom recently, giving fans a rare glimpse of her hair's natural texture and length. She looked like a young Meg Ryan, and in a second candid clip she teamed her silk leopard print pyjamas with a matching scrunchie and gave us the sudden urge to watch Saved By The Bell.
We think you'll agree that Kylie looks stunning with her shorter 'do, and her hair the glossiest it's ever been. Psalm seems to approve too...
So is it sayonara for the signature XL extensions? Probably not, but for now, we're just enjoying the glossy red lob in all its gorgeous glory...
