Kylie Jenner bored by Ryan Reynolds at Met Gala
You know how it is: you turn up at a posh do – be it a wedding, awards bash or work dinner – and they do that annoying thing where they mix up the seating plan so everyone sits next to someone they don’t know.
WHY WOULD YOU PUT PEOPLE THROUGH THAT SMALL-TALK HELL?
Well, it looks like the very same thing happened to Kylie Jenner at the Met Gala, poor love.
But for 19-year-old Kylie, she was sat next to one of the greatest couples in showbiz, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. It’s not like that one time when I was at a wedding and was forced to talk to the bride’s great-aunt Cathy about her upcoming bunion surgery.
It really could have been much worse, Kylie. Trust me...
(And yes, before you ask, Cathy did have photos on her phone.)

Even when another one of our favourite celebrity power-couples, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, came over to the table, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star refused to look up from her phone.
Stroppy teenager, much?
The reason the three of them were sat on the same table was because Kylie and Blake were both dressed by Versace for the fashion event, and that’s how the organisers sort the table plans every year.
But it’s not all bad, because Ryan’s wife seems to think he’s hilarious, and that’s all that matters, really.
