Kylie Cosmetics' frightfully fabulous Halloween collection is here
Kylie Jenner has transformed herself into a spooky queen ahead of her brand Kylie Cosmetics' Halloween drop. Collaborating with the horror classic Nightmare On Elm Street, Kylie said on social media that the collaboration is a 'dream'.
Taking to Instagram to tease the collaboration hours before the announcement, Kylie posted a cryptic video that saw her covered in blood (fake of course).
She captioned the post, "Can you guess who we collaborated with this year for halloween? 👀 collection reveal coming today @kyliecosmetics 🩸🩸"
Fans went wild, including the Kardashian-Jenner clan, with mum Kris leading the comments with, "Halloween Queen!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥"
Khloe also penned, "My spooky queen," before writing, "Come on and shut it down."
Three hours later she then announced the exciting Halloween collaboration and said, "KYLIE X NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 🔪🩸 ahhh what a DREAM to collaborate with the icon of horror! reveal happening right now on my stories! launching 10.12 @kyliecosmetics."
Fans of the star, who is currently expecting her second child, flooded the comments section of the post with pure excitement and anticipation.
"This is so cool," one fan penned.
While another said, "OKAY I CANT WAIT OMG OMG 😍 OBSESSED."
"CANNOT WAIT 🎃👻," a third said.
While a fourth commented, "My only wish is that the collection was bigger 🩸🩸🩸"
She then took to her Instagram stories to give a sneak peek into the new collection, where she showed off a jewel-hued eyeshadow palette, a trio of glossy lip lacquers, false lashes, and a lip and cheek stain.
The Kylie X Nightmare On Elm Street collection is set to have a VHS theme, with the makeup coming in a box shaped just like a video tape.
Some of the colours from the eyeshadow palette are named 'He’s coming,' 'Stay Up Late,' and 'Elm Street' – with red being a core colour throughout. Each of the eyeshadow shades are in deep hues, which are all beyond perfect for spooky season.
The trio of lip lacquers comprise of a deep red, a moody rust and a stunning vintage rose hue. While the lip and cheek jelly stain is a brand new formulation for Kylie Cosmetics, so this will be hotly anticipated by the world of beauty.
The Kylie Cosmetics X Nightmare On Elm Street collection will drop onto KylieCosmetics.com on October 12.
