Kyle Walker's special tribute to wife Annie Kilner and their four kids during Euros - after Lauryn Goodman drama
England midfielder Kyle Walker has paid a touching tribute to his four children with wife Annie Kilner during each match of the European Championships this summer - including the tense semi final on Wednesday 10 July where England beat the Netherlands to go on to their first final on foreign soil.
The 34 year old Manchester City player has shown his love for his family by making an ‘R’ symbol with his fingers during every match – a tribute to his four children whose names all begin with the letter.
Kyle and Annie are parents to Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five and baby son Rezon, who has born in April.
A source told MailOnline : “He always makes sure he has a nod to his family who are travelling to support him and the squad all the way from home for each game. The boys follow his every move and are so proud of their Dad. It drives him on knowing they are there.”
As well as the four children he has with Annie, Kyle also has two children with reality star Lauryn Goodman, who drew some criticism when she shared photos of them on social media on Saturday 6 July, watching Kyle and the England team in their match against Switzerland.
The 33 year old, who had an affair with Kyle when he was on a break from his relationship with Annie, took to Instagram to share snaps of four year old Kairo and his one year old sister from behind, both wearing England shirts with the word ‘Daddy’ emblazoned on the back, watching the match on a big screen at their home.
She captioned the photo with the words: “Come on England. Always Supporting”, and as the game became tense after Switzerland scored the first goal of the match, she added: “Last slide sums up the nation right now,” referring to a photo of her youngest on the floor with her head in her hands.
Lauryn also took Kairo to see Kyle play in an earlier Euros match against Denmark on 20 June, but they left before the end and sat at a different part of the stadium, away from Annie and the other wives and girlfriends of the England team.
Annie reportedly nearly bumped into Lauryn at the 1-1 tie , and WAG Megan Davison - wife of Jordan Pickford - was said to have been shocked by her appearance on the terraces. At the time, a source told The Sun: "They have all known Annie for a long time. They stick together and want Annie to know she is not alone. They have her back."
Kyle reportedly fathered his first child with Lauryn during a break from his relationship with Annie in 2019. He later reconciled with Annie, but in 2021 Lauryn gave birth to her second child with Kyle after he had a fling with the reality star.
