Kyle Walker and wife Annie Kilner 'looked tense' at Coleen and Wayne Rooney's mansion party

Kyle Walker and his wife Annie Kilner reportedly showed signs of strain during a lavish party at Coleen and Wayne Rooney's mansion.

The Manchester City defender, aged 33, and his 31 year old wife, who have recently celebrated the arrival of their fourth child, were said to have had a 'frosty' air about them at the star-studded event.

The tension comes on the heels of Kyle's admission that he fathered another child with Lauryn Goodman. Lauren and Kyle share a son and a daughter, however, he was married to Annie at the time.

According to The Sun, while the party was in full swing with guests enjoying themselves, it was clear that Kyle was still very much in trouble. The couple weren't showing much affection, but being there together was seen as a positive step for their relationship, reports the Daily Record.

A friend of the couple confided to the Mirror: "The children enjoyed playing football with several other footballers' kids and online gamers whilst Kyle and Annie spent time with friends. They are working through their differences but, understandably, there are of course issues. Spending time with friends is helping them get back to normality and overall they all had a great day."

The Rooneys are said to have thrown a star-studded bash at their lavish £20million pad, with guests including the likes of Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick, Jordan Pickford, and Steve Bruce, alongside players from the virtual Girth N Turf FC.

In a turn of events, Kyle has reportedly been welcomed back into the family home by his wife Annie, four months after being sent packing.

The Manchester City defender was previously shown the door by Annie, who was expecting their fourth child at the time, due to revelations of his affair with Lauryn Goodman, which resulted in a second child.

Annie, while heavily pregnant, had to face the harsh reality of her husband's betrayal. She has since given birth to their fourth son, making Kyle a dad of six.

Kyle was reportedly asked to leave their Prestbury mansion and is said to have moved into a property close by, forking out a hefty £20,000 monthly rent as the couple pondered the future of their relationship, MailOnline reports.

Despite Annie's January announcement that she needed "some time away" from the marriage, it appears the couple is now working towards reconciliation and "forgiving his past actions", especially after recently expanding their brood.

A source told the publication: "Kyle is now living back with Annie and the kids as they try and put their difficulties behind them and get their marriage back on track. She needs a lot of help around the house and a lot of emotional support. Kyle's very happy that he's back in the family home, but things are still very strained between them."
