Kyle Walker 'overjoyed' after welcoming baby boy with wife Annie Kilner
Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner have welcomed their fourth child together. The pair's marriage recently hit the headlines when Annie announced that they had split following the revelation that he had secretly fathered a second child with ex Lauryn Goodman.
It was then revealed that Annie was pregnant at the time of the split. On Tuesday, 16 April, it was revealed the couple had welcomed a baby boy, with a source confirming the baby's gender to OK!.
They added: "The family are overjoyed to add another son to the family and are looking forward to supporting Kyle at upcoming matches. Kyle is playing a major game tomorrow and focused very much on that."
And an insider has told The Sun: "Annie gave birth earlier this week and is doing well. Mum and baby are both happy and healthy. Kyle couldn’t be happier and is so proud of Annie.
"It has not been an easy few months for them but Kyle is doing everything he can to support Annie. They are focusing on the baby now and are looking forward to introducing them to their three boys. It is a very special time and they are relishing every second."
The new arrival is Kyle's sixth child, having also welcomed son Kairo, three, following a fling with Lauryn in 2019 while he had broken up with Annie. And earlier this year Lauryn revealed that he was also the father of her second child, and that she had fallen pregnant while he was married to Annie.
The TV star also shared that she was as the one to break the news of the affair to Annie over the Christmas holiday, while Kyle was away from home playing an away game against rival team Everton. According to Lauryn, she had never intended to break up Kyle’s marriage, she had simply wanted to hold him accountable for the two children he had fathered with her.
Kyle later confirmed that he had welcomed a second child with Lauryn, and publicly apologised to Annie. He told The Sun: "What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility.
"I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. I can’t begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. I’ve tried to ask her but there’s pain and hurt. The man that’s meant to love, care and be there for her, did this."
During his admission, Manchester City star Kyle said that, since the media attention, "there have been days where I’ve just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep".
Kyle also said that he had "tried to ask" Annie what she's been going through, but conceded that there is "pain and hurt". He publicly apologised to his family, as he said "the only person to blame is me", but said that he "owes it to everyone" to "own up to my mistakes".
