Krysten Ritter Secretly Welcomed Her First Child 1 Month Ago
Krysten Ritter was keeping a secret…but not anymore.
The Jessica Jones star, 37, welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Bruce Julian Knight Granofsky…one month ago.
The news broke earlier today when TMZ obtained the baby’s birth certificate, which confirms that he was born on July 9 at 2:47 p.m. at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Bruce’s father is Ritter’s longtime boyfriend Adam Granofsky. (He’s the frontman of The War on Drugs and goes by the stage name Adam Granduciel.)
Back in February, Ritter confirmed that she was expecting her first child when she flaunted her growing baby bump at the 2019 Oscar Awards. She walked the red carpet in a long-sleeve gown and accessorized the look with massive jewels. Since then, the actress hasn’t held back on flaunting her pregnant belly on her personal Instagram account.
Although Ritter didn’t reveal the meaning behind the newborn’s name, we can only hope it has something to do with the Marvel Comics universe. Like Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk), perhaps?
