Summer is heating up, and Kroger is making the longest day of the year the most delicious one for ice cream fans!

On Thursday, June 20, the supermarket retail company will be giving away 45,000 pints of ice cream to celebrate the summer solstice. June 20 will have 900 minutes of sunlight (15 hours), so there will be plenty of time to scoop up a sweet treat and enjoy it in the sun.

In order to redeem the offer, you will need to head to FreeKrogerIceCream.com and download a digital coupon. Each voucher, which will be good for one pint of Kroger brand ice cream, can only be downloaded on June 20.

"With more sunshine to enjoy a sweet treat, we are giving away ice cream for 15 hours straight; that is a whole lot of free ice cream," he added.
