Kristin Juszczyk's New NFL Clothing Line Has Raised Over $30,000 For Breast Cancer
Sideline fashion at NFL games has been seriously impressive lately, with Taylor Swift, Simone Biles, and Olivia Culpo showing up in cool alternatives to traditional jerseys. All of these women have worn unique NFL apparel from clothing designer Kristin Juszczyk, who is married to San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk (pronounced “use-check”).
Not only will Kristin be at the Super Bowl to cheer her husband on in a fabulous football-inspired 'fit, but her designs will soon be available to fashion-minded fans. Kristin recently scored a licensing deal with the NFL after people completely flipped over the puffer coat she designed for Taylor, Sportico reports. This means she can use official NFL logos in her designs.
Even cooler: Kristin just announced on Instagram that her first officially licensed NFL drop will donate all proceeds to charity. “Auction will be live starting at 12pm ET tomorrow through Saturday at 11:59pm ET. All proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. @nbcf Link in bio for more details! I’m so excited!!! Ahhhhhh,” she wrote on Thursday.
As of publication, the bid is currently at $32,800 (!).
Obviously, Kristin is a fashion and philanthropy icon, but how did she get here? Here’s everything to know about Kristin's and her rise to fame.
She started out crocheting with her grandmother at a young age.
Kristin and her love of textiles go way back. While Kristin said on her website that she’s “completely self-taught” and “learned everything I know from YouTube,” she also noted that her love of sewing started when she was young.
“I spent countless nights crocheting with my grandma while watching Wheel of Fortune,” she said. “I definitely hung up my needle and thread for a few years…more like 20 years.”
Kristin began upcycling old clothes into game day outfits.
Kristin started her line after making Halloween costumes for herself and Kyle. “I then began reworking my game day outfits for Kyle’s games,” she said. “I started reworking old T-shirts, jerseys, and even footballs into fresh designs. I continue to challenge myself to create new styles and broaden my skill set.”
Her NFL clothing line is called Designs by Kristin.
The self-titled brand makes sense considering how dedicated Kristin is to her work. “I have to say I’ve never felt more fulfilled in my life,” she said on her website. “I absolutely love what I do and just want to let you all know it’s never too late in life to rediscover a passion or talent!”
Kristin credits Taylor Swift with "catapulting" her career.
Taylor got a ton of attention when she and Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, showed up to the team's playoff game on January 14 in coordinating puffer jackets made by Kristin.
When Kristin saw the global pop star wearing one of her designs, she was filled with"so much adrenaline and happiness,"Kristin said on TODAY. "She [Taylor] single-handedly catapulted my career. I've been at this for years, when I saw her walk out in that jacket it brought me to tears."

And while Taylor may be the biggest celebrity to wear Kristin's clothing line, other celebrities with NFL player partners, including Simone Biles and Olivia Culpo, have also rocked her looks.
