Ambassador of Chanel since 2013, Kristen Stewart wore an outfit from the brand’s 2023 Coco Neige Collection to attend the 2024 Sundance Film Festival opening night gala, which celebrated the 40th anniversary of the event on Thursday, in Park City, Utah. The actress’ outfit was a co-ord set with a cropped jacket and baggy pants — both pieces were covered with Chanel logos.
The logomania set was worn by Lily-Rose Depp in the brand’s 2023 Coco Neige campaign, which was released in October. As a trend, logomania made a comeback on the runways in 2017, though it has always been present in collections from high-luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton and Fendi.

Stewart has a longtime relationship with Chanel. She was friends with Karl Lagerfeld, who chose her to play Gabrielle Chanel in the short film “Once and Forever,” that he directed. Stewart also starred in Chanel’s spring 2023 campaign, which was shot by Inez and Vinoodh in the South of France.
During the first night of the opening gala of the Sundance Film Festival, Stewart received the Visionary Award in recognition of her work with independent films. “We are thrilled to honor the immensely talented Kristen Stewart at our Opening Night Gala,” said Joana Vicente, Sundance Institute chief executive officer in a statement. “Kristen’s captivating performances across a wide, diverse body of work make her a truly unique talent. With over 10 Sundance films under her belt, she has always remained committed to the art of independent cinema,” he added.
The 2024 Sundance Film Festival will take place in Park City through Jan. 28. The annual film festival presents new documentary features, short films and episodic content. The event also features prizes, including the Directing Award and the Festival Favorite Award.
