The arrival of the Grinch Green Dozen deal comes after Krispy Kreme changed its yearly Day of the Dozens deal — which typically offers an Original Glazed dozen for $1 with the purchase of another dozen — to a buy one, get one free deal.

Krispy Kreme posted a few videos on Instagram of the Grinch sneaking into one of its shops, eating a few doughnuts and coloring the doughnut batter a fluorescent green. The Grinch bore a striking resemblance to Jim Carrey's version of the beloved Christmas villain.

A second video saw the Grinch once again in Krispy Kreme's kitchen, this time working with employees to craft the perfect green doughnut.
