Krispy Kreme Adds Parisian Dessert-Inspired Donuts to the Menu in Honor of the Paris Olympics
Each limited-time treat pays homage to classic French sweets: Crème Brûlée donut, Double Chocolate Éclair donut and the Raspberry and Vanilla Crème donut
If you can’t make it to Paris for the 2024 Olympics, Krispy Kreme’s new sweets will take you there.
On July 15, the bakery chain introduced three donuts inspired by French desserts in honor of the summer games. The Passport to Paris collection includes a range of treats that pay homage to classic Parisian sweets: Crème Brûlée donut, Double Chocolate Éclair donut and the Raspberry and Vanilla Crème donut.
The Crème Brûlée donut mimics the sugary crunch of the custard dessert. An unglazed donut is filled with crème brûlée-flavored cream before being dipped in caramel icing and crispy, caramelized sugar toppings.
Chocolate lovers can satisfy their cravings with the Double Chocolate Éclair donut. This chocolate custard-filled unglazed donut gets covered in chocolate icing and topped with chocolate pearls.
The Raspberry and Vanilla Crème donut is the only glazed donut of the bunch. The pink-tinted treat has raspberry icing, cookie pieces and a dollop of vanilla cream on top.
“Most people can’t be in Paris to cheer on their country’s team. So, we’re giving you a ‘Passport to Paris’ in the form of delicious doughnuts with Parisian dessert flavors,” Krispy Kreme’s Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena said in a release.

Krispy Kreme has been chock-full of deals the entire month. For all of July, the donut chain is handing out free specialty donuts every Tuesday and free iced coffee every Friday.
On each Tuesday, July 16, 23 and 30, rewards members can snag a donut from limited-time selections like the Kit Kat collection or the Star Spangled Sweetness collection. The Friday free iced coffee deal is good for any size coffee on July 19 and 26.
