22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.

Neck

Using 3.25mm circular needles (40cm long) and D, cast on 124 (136:136:140:152) sts.

Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist stitches, pm to mark beg of round.

Rib rnd: [K1, p1] to end.

This rnd sets rib.

Cont in rib until work measures 3cm from cast on edge.

Change to 4mm needles (40cm long), Working from chart, work rnds 1 - 47 (54:59:69:72), at same time changing to 4mm circular needles (80cm long) when there is too many stitches. 372 (408:442:490:532) sts.

Using A, knit 6 (5:6:2:5) rnds.

Next rnd: K54 (60:65:72:78), pm, k78 (84:92:102:110), pm, k108 (120:129:143:156), pm, k78 (84:92:102:110), pm, K54 (60:64:71:78).

Divide for Body

Next rnd: K to marker, place next 78 (84:92:102:110) sts between markers on a holder for armhole, break yarn, cast on 6 sts, K108 (120:129:143:156) sts to next marker, place next 78 (84:92:102:110) sts between markers on a holder for armhole, break yarn, cast on 6 sts, K to end of round. 228 (252:270:298:324) sts

Working on these sts only, Cont to knit every rnd until body measures 32cm from beg of body.

Using D, knit 1 rnd.

Next rnd: [K1D, K1C] to end. Break off C.

Using D, knit 1 round. Break off D.

Change to 3.25mm needles (60cm long) and B.

Rib rnd: [K1, p1] to end.

This rnd sets rib.

Cont in rib until rib measures 4cm.

Cast off in rib.

Sleeves (both alike)

With RS facing, starting at either side of 6 st cast on edge, using 4mm needles (40cm long) and B, pick up and knit 3 sts, pm, pick up and knit 3 sts, knit along 78 (84:92:102:110) sts left on holder for armhole, k3 to marker, this is now the start of the round. 84 (90:98:108:116) sts.

Knit 1 (1:1:1:9) rounds

Rnd 1: Ssk, k to last 2 sts, k2tog. 82 (88:96:106:114) sts.

Knit 5 (5:4:4:3) rnds.

Rep last 6 (6:5:5:4) rnds a further 19 (19:23:23:27) times, at same time changing to 4mm circular needles (25cm long) when there is too few stitches. 44 (50:50:60:60) sts.

Using D, knit 1 round.

Next rnd: [K1D, K1C] to end. Break off C.

Using D, knit 1 round. Break off D.

Change to 3.25mm needles (25cm long) and A.

Rib rnd: [K1, p1] to end.

This rnd sets rib.

Cont in rib until rib measures 4cm.

Cast off in rib.

Making up

Weave in ends under armholes closing any holes. Weave in ends and block to given measurements.
