Kit Kat Just Brought This International Favorite to the U.S.

If you’re anything like us, you don’t need a special occasion to enjoy a little (or a lot) of chocolate. Just about any day calls for that smooth and creamy deliciousness. However, there is one holiday that gives us all the more permission to satisfy our chocolate cravings. No, it’s not Halloween—that’s a candy lover’s paradise. We’re talking about Easter.

Easter is the holiday for all things chocolate—chocolate eggs, chocolate carrots, and of course, chocolate bunnies. Kit Kat, of course, has had a corner on the chocolate wafer candy market for decades and has released countless flavors and shapes over the years.

In December, we were all about those cute Santas, and we’ve been gearing up for Valentine’s Day to enjoy those lovable bears. Now, a popular Kit Kat shape found only overseas is coming to the U.S. lineup just in time for the Easter, ahem, chocolate season.

Kit Kat's New Easter Bunnies

Kit Kat Bunnies are the brand's latest seasonal shape. They have all the texture and flavor we already love from this treat—layers of crunchy wafers covered in milk chocolate—wrapped up in an adorable presentation fitting for Easter.

Once only available outside the U.S., Kit Kat Bunnies are now stateside for the season. Instagrammer @markie_devo recently posted about the new shape, saying, "No more smuggling Kit-Kat Bunnies from other parts of the world!!"

Fans are already expressing excitement about the treat. "So cute oh my goodness," gushed one fan, while another exclaimed, "The best news I've received today!!" 

Kit Kat Bunnies are available now in an individually wrapped snack size at major retailers nationwide. When we checked Walmart.com, an 8.85-ounce package retails for about $5 while a 14.75-ounce bag is about $7. If you’re looking to try them this season, you better hop on that bunny trail fast. Candy this cute is only available for a limited time.
