Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas is back on our screens this week
Kirstie's Handmade Christmas is returning to Channel 4 this week for lots of Christmas craft inspiration.
The popular craft TV show presented by Kirstie Allsopp will be back on Channel 4 at 8pm on Sunday 10 December.
This year, Kirstie invites back four previous Handmade Christmas winners, who will compete to make the best showstopper Christmas tree decoration. The creations from the talented crafters include needle-felted woodland animals, stained-glass snowflakes and stunning holograms.
The news of this year's show was announced on the Instagram page for Kirstie's Handmade Christmas, with a picture of Kirstie in her Christmas HQ, alongside the caption: "Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas is back! Tune in @Channel4 at 8pm on Sunday 10th December for wonderous windows, a festive glow up for the Festive HQ, a Christmas Tree competition like no other and so much more."
Kirstie will also try her hand at basket making with a community craft group in Portsmouth.
Discussing the show last year, Kirstie said, "We’ve been doing a Christmas craft show for so long now that I’ve actually lost count, but I think we’re on about 14.
"There are the people who watch it, actually try some of the crafts and really enjoy them and there are the people who watch it, with a pen, write everything down and do all the crafts. It really is for everyone this show. It isn’t just for people who are crafty. I mean if you aren’t wildly enthusiastic about Christmas, it might not be the show for you but otherwise, we’ve got you covered."
The Channel 4 show will be brimming with ideas and inspiration to make your Christmas the craftiest yet, perfect for those who are on a budget and love to indulge their creative streak.
As before, we're expecting to see some exceptional crafters battling it out to produce the most impressive seasonal creations and secure one of Kirstie's coveted handmade trophies.
As well as putting her hand to some magical Yuletide craft projects, the top judges will be on-hand to offer some brilliant craft tips and tricks.
