Kim Kardashian just ticked off a major Spring/ Summer 2021 trend with her latest bikini photo. Thin, crisscross-ing straps were a major player in many of the new season runway shows, and we don't just mean spaghetti strap tank tops. We're talking torso cutouts bound together by thin zigzags of fabric, visible G-string thongs sewn into low-back dresses, and strappy detailing on trouser hips.

In her latest Instagram, Kim posed by the pool in a beige Jade Cropper bikini. It's covered in the Cropper 'Signature Print,' which is almost like an early millennium-style thorn branch pattern. (Like the Slipknot logo, or the pattern you'd see on the side of a hard core energy drink can.) But in the subtle beige and brown colourway, it just looks...incredibly...chic?

The top is a classic slider triangle style, but when you look closer, there are several thin straps winding around her torso, creating a slight bondage nod. This plays right into spring's sexy straps trend (and looks amazing, no?).

The bottoms are a standard teeny bikini shape, and she's hiked the straps high up on her hips, creating a leg-lengthening look. She finished the look with very fashion-y visor shades, waist-length straight locks, and positively glowing skin.

The swimsuit label, Jade Cropper, shared another snap on their socials so that we can get another look. In this shot, Kim poses with sister Kourtney. They appear to be hanging off a dock or the back of a boat, mermaid style, blowing kisses to the camera. Kourtney has also gotten in on the strappy trend, with her halterneck bikini held together by criss-crossing strings.

Roll on, summer. Will you be rocking the sexy straps trend?
