Kim Kardashian Stars as Cheeky ‘Fairy Butt Mother’ for Skims, Unveils New Ultimate Butt Leggings, Shapewear and Bodysuits
Kim Kardashian stars in a new campaign for Skims featuring pieces from the brand’s new Ultimate Butt collection. The collection features new styles ranging from bras to shapewear, leggings, bodysuits and more.
In the video campaign, Kardashian, who cofounded Skims in 2019 alongside Jens Grede, appears as one young woman’s Fairy Butt Mother. The Fairy Butt Mother answers the forlorn and stressed woman’s pleas for an “easier” way to achieve her ideal physique, and the Fairy Butt Mother has the answer thanks to new shapewear and a new bra that lifts the woman’s butt and bust.

The Ultimate Butt drop introduces nine, all-new styles expanding across the brand’s bestselling collections. Enhanced pieces come from Skims Ultimate Bras, Skims Body, Skims Ultimate Body and Skims Smooth Layers.
The look provides an instant bust enhancement as well as a sculpted butt. The new drop continues Skims mission to help women who wear the brand’s pieces achieve their desired look.
“I love being able to push boundaries and bring humor to our campaigns,” Kardashian, who also serves as the brand’s chief creative officer, said in a statement. “We love showing how looking and feeling your best should be as simple and easy as putting on Skims.”
The Ultimate Butt campaign was written by comedian and writer Michelle Wolf. The video was also directed by Ben Carey. Both Carey and Wolf previously wrote and directed the campaign for Skims Ultimate Nipple Bra.
The latest campaign and curated collection drop comes after Skims unveiled its Valentine’s Day collection starring Blackpink’s Rosé. Skims also opened a Valentine’s Day pop-up shop in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood just in time for the holiday, featuring an assortment of pieces from some of the brand’s consumer-favorite collections.
