Kim Kardashian Killed It In Her Debut As A Saturday Night Live Host

Kim Kardashian was reportedly working long hours in the week leading up to her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live. The fashion and cosmetics mogul wanted to do a great job, and she knocked it out of the park. Her opening monologue and many of the sketches that followed let Kardashian poke fun at her family and her own life.

'When they asked, I was like, "You want me to host? Why? I haven’t had a movie premiere in a really long time,”' she joked, making sly reference to her infamous 2002 sex tape. 'I mean, actually, I only had that one movie come out, and nobody told me it was even premiering. It must have slipped my mom’s mind.'

She also touched on her divorce from Kanye West, her father's work on the O.J. Simpson trial, and the failed political ambitions of West and Caitlyn Jenner.

Later, during a sketch titled The People's Kourt, Kardashian got to pretend to be her sister Kourtney Kardashian and was joined by her sister Khloe Kardashian in a surprise cameo. Kris Jenner popped in, too, but Kendall Jenner must have been booked because musical guest Halsey put on a wig to portray the model perfectly.

Kardashian continued to play her sister so she could give her take on Kourtney's relationship with Travis Barker, and its passionate P.D.A. She then invited out Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox, played by Pete Davison and Chloe Finneman, because they're such good friends in real life.

And then Kardashian looked amazing as Jasmine, truly a role she was born to play:

A source recently told ET Online that Kardashian's friends and family knew she'd be a hit.

'She is so smart and such a professional,' said the source. 'She really wants to do the best job possible and ‘wow’ everyone and make them laugh. Kim is extremely funny and all her close friends and family know that.'
