It seems Old Hollywood Glam is having a major revival thanks to Kim Kardashian who this week wore not one but two of Marilyn Monroe's iconic dresses.

ICYMI (how the f***!?) Kim wore Marilyn's famous 'Happy Birthday Mr President' bejewelled gown to the 2022 Met Gala on Monday night, and just days later she slipped into another Monroe special.

Taking to Instagram to show off the second stunning look, Kim said: "To top off my night after The Met, I had the honour of changing into Marilyn Monroe's Norman Norell dress that she wore to the Golden Globes in 1962 —where she received the Henrietta Award For World Film Favourite."

Swipe for Marilyn...

She went on, "In my quest to find the Jean Louis hand beaded dress that I wore to the gala, I discovered @heritageauctions owned Marilyn’s iconic green sequinned gown." But that's not all, as wearing the green gown was simply not enough, with Kim set on wearing the *whole* look. "Further into my research I found out that the owner of the Golden Globe that she received that evening was none other than my friend @jeffleatham," she explained.

"I saw this all as a sign the way that all of the stars aligned," Kim added. "It will forever be one of the greatest privileges of my life to be able to channel my inner Marilyn in this way, on such a special night."

The body-hugging, fishtail gown is covered in deep, green sequins from head to toe, and The Kardashians star paired the look with a slicked back bun (showing off her newly bleached hair) and, of course, the Golden Globe award.

Despite the 41-year-old looking drop dead gorgeous in the get up, some fans took to the comments section to point out one key difference between how she and Marilyn wore the dress. "Wait so Marilyn didn’t put her arms through the armholes!? Iconic lol," commented model Chrissy Teigen. "No!!!" replied Kim, "I tried it that way but it didn't look good on me like that."
