Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are reportedly working out their issues with the help of a specialist, Kris Jenner's friend Lisa Stanley said.

“One thousand percent they are working through couple’s therapy,” the family friend said in an appearance on KIIS FM’s Celeb HQ. “She’s working hard, he’s working hard. You can’t just earn trust back in two months.”

Khloé gave birth to the couple's daughter True Thompson three months ago, the same week that cheating allegations came out against Tristan, complete with photos and videos. Despite the entire internet thinking she would, Stanley said she was "never planning on leaving" Tristan and she is intent on fixing their issues.

“She doesn’t want to look a fool," Stanley said. "She was a fool once with Lamar [Odom, her first husband, who also reportedly cheated on her], and she didn’t want to do it again.”

Unlike with Lamar, who the reality star divorced after videos surfaced of him at a Nevada brothel, Khloé is a mom now, which has totally changed her perspective on the relationship.

"Khloé was always going to try make this work, for a plethora of reasons. The first reason is she has a child now, and she feels very connected to [Tristan] in that way. The second reason is she loves him. She clearly loves the man," Stanley said.

The Kardashian family, however, doesn't love that Tristan and Khloé are still together, and they'd prefer him to be strictly True's father.

"If Kris and the family had it their way, she probably would be leaving [him]. They're not okay with this," Stanley said. This guy not only cheated on her, it was on video and the world saw it. And she was humiliated. But she's choosing to stay."
