Khloé Kardashian reveals genius beauty hack behind latest full fringe look

Of all the hair trends that are floating around the beauty sphere right now, sweepy curtain bangs is the one that has piqued our interest the most. Perhaps it's Emily In Paris star Lily Collins' wispy French-girl fringe – affectionately dubbed "trauma bangs" by her character's on-screen BFF Mindy – that has propelled us to have bangs on the brain, we couldn't possibly say.

But the fictional marketing executive isn't the only contemporary beauty icon who has switched things up in the hair department of late, in fact, she is in excellent company.

Khloé Kardashian has seemingly been taking her cues from Emily's new 'do, and the reality star documented her new look in a post shared on Instagram with her 287m followers.

The 38-year-old looked utterly radiant in a photoshoot for Sorbet Magazine in which she sported a minimalistic cropped tank top and a shimmery gold chainmail skirt, both courtesy of Prada. The star teamed her extremely covetable separates (her geometric mini is giving Françoise Hardy's iconic Paco Rabanne shift a run for its money) with a spiral chrome arm cuff and pale pink almond-shaped nails.

But without a doubt, her new fringe, created by esteemed celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons, took centre stage. "Fun fact: I wore clip-on bangs for this shoot. It was fun to give a different look and not be committed," Khloé explained in the caption.

Praising the non-committal approach is 100% a take we can get behind. After all, curtain bang maintenance is not for the faint hearted. (Tragically, I speak from experience. My inability to organise a monthly trim means that my own sweepy fringe leaves a lot to be desired.)

As such, we reckon Khloé's genius beauty hack would be the way forward if you're wanting to temporarily switch things up. Plus, bangs offer another potential beauty benefit – they give the illusion of a totally different facial structure, which is just honestly super interesting to experiment with. "I am surprised with how much I liked the bangs even though they changed the shape of my face," Khloé continued. Narcissus has nothing on our mirror time.
