It's inspired by a TikTok fave.

We can always count on snacking companies to release innovative—and maybe a little unhinged—flavors. From Doritos Golden Sriracha to a Pringles collab with Miller Lite for a beer can chicken-flavored crisp, we’ve seen almost every brand launch a new, creative flavor in the past year.
As beloved as Lay’s taco- and garlic bread-flavored potato chips are, there’s another brand that is known for its trending flavor launches: Kettle. The kettle-cooked potato chip brand has released everything from pepperonchini- and pimento cheese-flavored chips to chips that were cooked in an air fryer for 30 percent less fat. Recently, though, it’s leaning into global flavors from some of our favorite cuisines, like Tex-Mex Spicy Queso and Korean Gochujang.
Kettle Brand’s latest limited-edition flavor draws from another popular Mexican condiment that’s become a viral sensation. This month, it’s releasing new Kettle Brand Chamoy-flavored potato chips.

With the sweet and spicy (“swicy”) trend ever popular, Kettle Brand is throwing its hat in the ring with the new fruity, chile flavor. The Chamoy chips are reminiscent of the Mexican condiment made from fruit, chiles, and spices. The resulting potato chip flavor is sweet, tangy, and just a tad spicy, with hints of mango and lime.
The sauce became popular on TikTok thanks to the Chamoy Pickle, which social media loved for its sweet, spicy, savory flavor. The Chamoy Pickle features an entire dill pickle soaked in chamoy, turning it bright red and adding a fruity, tangy flavor to the salty gherkin.
Kettle Brand says it was inspired to make the flavor since chamoy’s popularity has grown 282 percent over the past two years. Despite having a cult following, chamoy potato chips have not been available before. So, Kettle’s perfectly crunchy, kettle-cooked chips coated in spicy, tangy, fruity seasoning are the first to hit national markets.
The unique flavor joins the Kettle Brand lineup for one year, beginning this month through February 2026. Kettle Brand’s limited-edition Chamoy chips are available at national retailers for $5.29 per bag now.
If you’ve wanted to get in on the chamoy trend but weren’t sure where to start, these new Kettle chips are the ultimate choice.
