Kendall Jenner Photographs Her First Magazine Cover Shoot

While we all know Kendall Jenner to be a supermodel in the making, she’s showing that her talents and interests extend beyond the runway and that she also enjoys being behind the camera. Now, she’s showing off her photography skills with another shoot for Love magazine.

She has definitely matured in terms of how she is in front of the camera. She’s in her prime, both physically and mentally. She’s getting more beautiful, which I did not even think was possible. Listen, were all trying to get all our work in now before she hits the scene. When that happens we’ll all go broke!”

The open call for cover stars of upcoming issues started in October 2016 on Jenner’s and Love editor in chief Katie Grand’s social media accounts. After receiving over 110,000 applications, a few stood out. For the first cover shoot, they selected 18-year-old Arianna Singh-Hicks.

It’s FINALLY here, 110,000 applicants from all over the world, twenty five finalists and eight covers later; #loveme17 ???? happy 18th birthday ???????? @ariannahicks. Arianna is our first issue 17 cover to be released, photographed by Kendall. Arianna likes singing, rock climbing, pole vaulting and lives in Toronto ????????????????????and is wearing @burberry February 2017 collection ????

Since that time, the brand has continued to release snapshots of other cover stars who Jenner also had a hand in choosing as well as shooting, such as Destiny Anderson.

Also a winner of the talent search was Ísold Halldórudóttir, who had traveled all the way to Los Angeles from Iceland to be photographed by Kendall.

????????????????The wonderful Ísold Halldórudóttir (@7520c ), a young Filmmaker and Artist, was one of the winners of our #LOVEME17 talent search, selected by LOVE and Kendall Jenner. She travelled all the way from Iceland to LA to be shot by Kendall ‘I do it all: paint, take pictures, film. I want to travel the world making art. Love magazine has also released a behind-the-scenes video of Jenner’s photo shoot with the girls. If this is any indication of Jenner’s future in the photography industry, it’s looking pretty bright.
