Keira Knightley has admitted that the thought of having to watch the children's cartoon Peppa Pig again has put her off having a third child.

Chatting to Jimmy Fallon on the US talk show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Black Doves actor said of her two children she'd thought, "They're so nice, should we have another one?" but that, "I could do the pregnancy. I could even do the birth. But I cannot watch any more Peppa Pig. It's not going to happen."

The hilarious comment is likely to be relatable to many fellow parents who have had to watch more than their fair share of children's television.

Thankfully, Keira revealed that her two current children, Delilah and Edie, now watch the "very cool" Studio Ghibli (the Japanese animation studio founded by director Hayao Miyazaki) instead. Keira said their change of programming choices is "just lovely, after seven years of Peppa Pig."

The new release has a stellar cast line up, with Ben Wishaw (aka Q from Daniel Craig's James Bond films) and Happy Valley's Sarah Lancashire starring alongside Keira.

Keira Knightley shares her two daughters, Delilah and Edie with her husband, the musician James Righton. The couple have now been married more than a decade, after tying the knot in 2013. They welcomed their eldest daughter Edie two years later in 2015, with Delilah arriving in 2019.
