Katy Perry stepped out at a Billboard Women In Music event last night—wearing a cherry red top and skirt from Ellie Misner with what can only be described as a thong-exposing "butt corset." And tbh she looked absolutely incredible! So apologies to my mom for when I try to recreate this vibe at the wedding we're all attending this summer!

Katy's appearance comes amid her announcing that this'll be her last season on American Idol. She dropped the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying “I think this will probably be my last show, my last season for Idol. I mean, I love Idol so much. It’s connected me with the heart of America, but I need to feel that pulse to my own beat.”
She added "It’s going to be a very exciting year, Jimmy, for all pop star girlies. Let’s just say I’m creating space for my new wingspan.” And when it comes to her co-stars Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, Katy emphasized “I love them so much. They know, they know, they figured. I’ve been in the studio for a while...I love the show so much but I wanna see the world and maybe bring new music!”
