Katie Price sets date for wedding to Carl Woods

Katie Price and Carl Woods have set a date for their wedding day.

The reality star revealed the news during an exchange of comments with her make-up artist Fern Howe-Shepherd on Instagram. The cosmetics expert announced that she was taking bridal bookings for the upcoming year and the 43-year-old replied, "Yes we have our date", followed by a series of fire emojis. She did not divulge the date.

Katie, who got engaged to Carl in April last year, previously sparked speculation that they were going to tie the knot in Las Vegas in November, as she was spotted arriving in Sin City with luggage bearing the name "Katie Woods".

However, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, the former glamour model insisted that she would get married locally so her mum Amy, who suffers from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, can attend.

"It will be in England, because of the family, my mum is terminally ill and can't travel. So I'd never get married unless my mum was there," she shared.

Katie also vowed 2022 was going to be her year and one with "no dramas" after narrowly avoiding jail last month. She was handed a 16-week suspended sentence and two-year driving ban for drink-driving, driving without insurance, and driving while disqualified when she crashed her car in September.

Speaking about her plans for the year, she said, "Babies, marriage, this year I want it all. I've definitely found the one in Carl and we will get married."

The wedding will mark Katie's fourth time down the aisle following marriages to Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler.
