Katie Price finally confirms mystery behind twin babies with six word statement
Katie Price has opened up about her ‘mystery twin babies’ in a new interview. In October, the former glamour model broke the internet when she posted a photo to her social media stories of two tiny babies, declaring “Finally my twins have arrived ”.
The reveal left fans confused, and after it was reported that the babies were reborn dolls - which can cost four figures or more. At the time, a source told OK! about the heartache that lies behind Katie’s decision to become a ‘mum’ to these dolls. “She’s been through a lot of trauma in her life and she’s been at her happiest when she’s had her babies,” they said. “It’s her happy place and safe place, but the beauty of them not being real is she can just get on with her life as normal and they don’t keep her up all night." Now, the star has confirmed that her twins are dolls.
In an interview with Closer Magazine, the mum of five revealed she’d just completed an IVF programme, after she was asked how she feels about having more children. “I’ve just done an IVF programme,” Katie began.

Confirming the ‘mystery’ behind her dolls, Katie said: “I’ve got my twin dolls, which I’m not going into detail about.
“I did IVF, and that programme will be out next year. I won’t be watching, as I don’t want to be reminded of the past. The experience was horrific, and if I look back, I wasn’t in the right relationship. I think things happen for a reason, if I’m honest,” the star concluded.
Katie has revealed in the past that she suffered a miscarriage during her marriage to Peter Andre, and again when she was in a relationship with Carl Woods. In her latest autobiography she addressed the latter, writing: “But having failed IVF and then having IVF only to miscarry is very horrific.”
Earlier, in 2019, she told the Loose Women that she’d had “more than” three miscarriages in her life, and because she was self-employed she “just had to get on with it, you just have to grieve on your own.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Katie was asked whether she’d like to walk down the aisle again. Currently, she’s in a relationship with former Married At First Sight UK star, JJ Slater.
“I’d love to get married again!” Katie said. JJ’s very old fashioned, so he hasn’t even put a ring on my finger yet. So, until that happens, you’ll have to ask him if he wants to marry me!”
