Katie Holmes's Corduroy Jacket and Baggy Y2K Jeans Outfit Is the Epitome of Coffee Run-Core

Katie Holmes's off duty style is the definition of effortless chic, and her latest outfit—which she wore on the way to her current Broadway production, Our Town—is total proof that she can pull off nearly every aesthetic or trend (self-created or otherwise) with ease.

The actress was seen in New York City on the way to work on December 29, and wore a cozy brown corduroy jacket. The jacket featured all the trappings of a cold weather staple, down to the pockets on the breast, and the contrasting buttons for added visual interest.

The rest of Holmes's outfit had a devil-may-care feel to it, as she tossed a bright blue and white striped top under the coat and wore Gen Z-approved, baggy Y2K denim jeans to match in a medium blue wash. Holmes completed the look with a slouchy grey beanie, brown sunglasses, a black shoulder back and white sneakers, but perhaps the star of the outfit came from her double fisting two Venti coffees from Starbucks. Call it "coffee run-core."

The look is yet another that falls into Holmes's tried and true cold weather outfit formula, which she told InStyle is "is usually based on more, and the double layer. So for now, it's a lot of pants that I can put yoga pants underneath and cozy sweaters and just try to have some sort of balance to it." She added, "My stylist Brie Welch is really good, so I really give her all of the props. I follow what she wears and I'm inspired by her."
